Best android stick for emulating?

X96s is an amlogic s905y2 looks to be slightly better then the s905, but still single core performance of half the (now geting old) CPU in the shield, so my general advice above is probably still pretty accurate... though I have not personally tested a device with this chipset.

The fire tv stick 4k (2018) you can play monster hunter freedom at 2x resolution (so not hd\fhd) at a stable 30fps, but that is one of the easier to run titles for PPSSPP and it kinda goes downhill from there until you hit demanding titles (like god of war chains) which are basically unplayable at any settings. But really you would get similar results from a cherry trail z3735f windows based hdmi stick from 4 or so years ago. My z3735f stick does about the same as the new fire tv stick and it is not a recomended experience. Though the fire stick does handle hd video playback much better then the z3735 does for whatever that matters to you.
