Build 1.6.3 Assertion Crash?
I haven't upgraded PPSSPP for a few years, but recently went from build 0.9.something to 1.6.3. Now I notice that, sometimes, the build crashes when I leave the PPSSPP window and eventually go back.
I have it set to 'Pause When Window Not Active'. Sometimes, I click away and back to PPSSPP without any issues. Other times, this crash occurs. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. My Backend is OpenGL. (Not using Vulkan) AMD E-350 is my processor, with a built-in AMD Radeon 6310 graphics card. I haven't changed any cards or altered anything lately. I added a screenshot of the crash window. *** Assertion *** No matter if I click Yes or No for "Try to continue", it results in a window pop-up, telling me PPSSPP crashed. PS: I checked, and this doesn't occur if I don't have "Pause When Window Not Active" turned on. So, this has an easy 'fix', but it still shouldn't crash when that option is turned on. |
