switching from digital to analog mode and vice versa should be done via mode/analog/home/connect button

usually its the button that let you connect to bluetooth dongle

like look for example this 1 does that with that p3 button in the center

also it may sound like stupid idea but did u even try to calibrate it in control panel?

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.
