My opinion if you want 90% of gaming working it should be high end device from 2015.

Snapdragon 808 or higher.
2 or 3 gb of ram
Adreno 418 the lowest you can go

Based on my moto x pure that 3 gb of ram have this specs run fluently but could do better.
I have a Galaxy s7 edge that runs 100% based on Vulcan API that only on Snapdragon 820 I think!
