For this particular game you can try my cheats made for EU version from here, much fewer of them than in this lenghty thread and I don't plan on doing more, but should also work for US version since AFAIK this game shares same code between those two regions at least.

As for cheats in this thread, you will have to wait for someone to update them, they are made in a way that requires updating every time a mosquito farts, or at least every time emulation improves and that will always be a thing until emulation becomes perfect and stops changing or until people who maintain those cheats learn how to make them less dependant on memory allocation changes by modifying game code to do what they want for them or at least using pointers.
