Comparing Android Devices for PPSSPP
+Hi, I'm now considering to change my phone, but I'm not sure about ARM CPUs' performances, especially for PPSSPP.

The devices I'm considering to buy are:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 (ARM Cortex-A53 MP4 1.4GHz, Qualcomm Adreno 308)
Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 (ARM Cortex-A53 MP8 1.4GHz, Qualcomm Adreno 505)

And I'm not sure how they compare with my current device:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC (Qualcomm Krait 400 MP4 2.26 GHz, Qualcomm Adreno 330 450MHz)

I looked at benchmarks, but I know emulators performances differ by architectures so I'm still in dark.

I'm particularly concerned about this thread about my current phone's architecture: [http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?pid=55131] I wonder if it's still valid. My phone runs games like:
* Final Fantasy III: stable 100% speed, 30/30fps
* Harvest Moon HoLV: stable 100% speed, 30/30fps
* Crisis Core: stable 100% speed, occasional frame skips
* Tekken DR: stable 100% speed, 25~40/60fps
* Kingdom Hearts BbS: constant frame drops, occasional slowdowns
* TYPE-0: 5~7/30fps with frame skips, at best
Most games like KH:BbS, TYPE-0, Tekken 6, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, GoW, Wipeout Pure, Ratchet & Clank, GTA run at unplayable fps.

Since PPSSPP is my only priority in choosing phones, I am desperate to know if those new devices can run more games at playable fps.
It'd be grateful if you could suggest how those cortex-A53 devices will run PPSSPP compared to my current device.

Edit] Okay, I was able to get to test PPSSPP on the former device. Kingdom Hearts BbS ran at 10/30fps, 100% speed at best. My question is now resolved, and for anyone else looking for a PPSSPP phone, I can tell you: cortex-A53 1.4 GHz ain't good. I'm sticking to my current phone.
