Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions (WOTL)

Hi, I've been trying to get the adhoc multiplayer working on a single machine by using the following method but I'm not having any luck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqHRefuOLfI&t=0s

My FFT game will always claim that it cannot detect any opponent, and yes, I did make one host and the other one join. I tried Tekken 6 since it seems to be the only game people can get working consistently but I can't seem to get the 2 PPSSPP to connect. The first one would go to lobby while the other one will always have connection error. I've made exception for the ppsspp64.exe for my firewall too, so I'm at a lost.

I'm using the latest PPSSPP version I think, 1.4.2.
