Bizarre Text Glitch

Hey folks,

Let me start by saying I'm a fan of playing games at their original resolution, so my goal here it to be able to play games at 480x272 stretched up to a 1080p screen. To some this may sound awful, but hey, I like it.

However, playing games at native resolution has continually resulted in this awful glitch with the text. Here it is in two games, Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea. Notice that some text looks fine, I'm assuming because it's pre-rendered. I've messed around with the graphics settings quite a bit and can't seem to find a fix.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is unfortunately completely unplayable in its current state.
