Crimson Gem Saga

i am also having a crash at the principles office in the beginning of the game. I tried changing graphics settings, restarting and none of that worked i am using the most up to date 1.2.2 is there another trick or maybe a version that plays it smooth? I am on windows 7 64x so far no luck thanks for any help.
