Appears to be the same with windows, you can't see each others rooms in network mode, I can confirm that connections were made as I tried both the inbuilt pro adhoc server and the separate one to see the log and the connections are being made, you just can't see/join groups once you're in the networking mode.

I have tried Adhoc on All All Yu Gi Oh TG on Windows, All work without issue
Local, Coldbird! But Internet IP I have issue.
