Well if you still have to use D3D postprocessing shaders will unfortunately not work at all for you, it was really made for low end hardware and much later as well so it doesn't offer as much. What's the ogl issue anyway? Or was that fixed in newer version of ppsspp? I guess win 10 might have driver issues, it's always like that with new os:].

If you can use OGL, well postprocessing shaders are most subjective thing really, some people completely hate them as whenever you enhance something with them, something else is always being lost. Nothing really is "best" doesn't matter how many people abuse the word, so you should just try them out and see if it's improvement or not for your own eyes. And if you need more options you could also check the link in my sig since ppsspp doesn't really allow mixing different effects in any other way(at least not yet) than providing them as one combined shader.
