The only custom thing you get from 2G save are I belive 3 statistics, time played, number of quests cleared and the most used weapon get's on your "2G player" badge, all of which if you really care about could be easily edited via cheat engine, but they are just pointless numbers and do absolutely nothing to enhance your game.
Nothing else really "imports", the game just check if you have saves(2G&poka poka airu village) and gives you some preset bonuses then allows you to create your character from 0.

I knew that importing a save from MHP2ndG to MHP3rd didn't add much things but I didn't know which things...
But by reading what you write here I realize that it's fairly useless to import a save ^^
