the anti-pirate block just search into the ram, maybe for signatures or check firmware version.

EDIT (workaround) : someone on youtube says that just spamming x/o buttons after game starts works as well,i don't have the game so i can't try.
this is the comment : "..oh i just passed that problem. just press everything very quickly and it'll work.Like after u run the game, spam O button, then spam the X button after u picked the load thingy."

Cheat system is not implemented in PPSSPP, pressing O or X button did not the trick with PPSSPP, I'm not sure if this does even work on the real PSP. But thats no problem, PPSSPP will eventually work with the game (or the other way around)
