RE: San Andreas (android)
I hope you're right. But the engine is same as previous GTAs, then should run a bit more slow than VC, even I thinking the VC is bad optimized, because I was reading a thread in a forum about GTA, and a mod has modified the GTA VC for Android porting the Los Santos map, and he said that runs more fast than the original game.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

RE: San Andreas (android)
Let's hope it runs.. if yours is slow, I've no chance lol
Yours is an a9.. mine is a5 (slowest processor available)
I think your right about optimization, Soul caliber is too slow to play on mine.. hopefully they update the app, but I reach full speed on ppsspp.. which is heavily optimized.

RE: San Andreas (android)
The GTA VC runs fast on my phone sometime I get 60 FPS. I run it at max settings and with dynamic shadows, if I disable he dynamic shadows, the games runs smooth (I guess 60 FPS all time).

RE: San Andreas (android)
Why would I kid?? the soul caliber port is slow on my device and the ppsspp soul calibur with frameskipp 1 is full speed.
Maybe if the port had frameskipp it would be playable.

RE: San Andreas (android)
I don't know the aspects of Xperia T, but I think you'll need at least a Galaxy S2 (Cortex A9 1.2Ghz Dual Core, Mali 400MP4 and 1GB of RAM). If it run slow, I think I'll install a custom kernel to get more performance, and maybe make a overclock. But anyways I wanna buy a new phone in next year, my current phone is 1 year old (I bought 24-Nov-2012), and I think it already is old. Big Grin

Another thing about the GTA VC: the game has a problem with Mali devices (Galaxy S2, S3, Note 2, etc.), the textures is very pixeled (I guess the color is 8bit), but in Adreno, for example, is normal. The Rockstar was notified, and I think they will fix in the next version of GTA VC. I hope it not happen in SA. Another stuff that I hope see on SA is the road reflection when it rains, I like this effect on the games. And, if possible, the fog effect too. Smile

RE: San Andreas (android)
Hm, I was thinking, when the GTA SA was released for PC, I think it was made for single core processors. Now we have dual core and quad core processor on mobile, then I think it will not need a powerful phone to run, they also will not make a game that only the high-ends phones could run, would be suicide. I guess a mid-end (as mine) phone can run it as well.
