I asked that question, please ?

i made the tutorial so i thought u did use it to replace that why i dint answer but anyway ur fine now so ok

anyway guys why not just use shortcuts + rocketdock with with stackdocklets ?

and changing shortcut icon of a program is just right click shortcut and choose properties and click change icon change it and ur done

i will make tutorial if you guys care to try but for now i just show ya da effect

this bar on the left is called rocktdock
it appear after i move cursor to left edge of the screen for 2 sec (totally adjustable u can change on which side RD appear and how long u need to hold mouse cursor or make it always visible)

now as you see i moved there paint shortcut i clicked it and it launches paint and show arrow indicator that paint is running

now there is add on to RD called stack docklets

what it makes is that when u click it it will instead of making single app/file run it will make like preview of folder with everything that is inside
now all my emulators in that folder (they are shortcuts) are perfectly displayed and i have quick access to them
and look launch indicator still shows that paint is running

and there is even more rocketdock have another addon called kkmenu which make menu like this < i think its called cascade menu

so does that looks better ? in my opinion its best way to organize ur programs and get quick access to them

and u use only shortcuts to which icon change is ultra easy

care to try ? Smile
