FPS Limiter Request Option
Someone can make a option FPS Limiter (not Speed, FPS). Would be good for games that have 60 FPS, limiting to 30 FPS, we go get more Speed on Android.

Phones: Galaxy S10 Lite and Redmi Note 6 Pro

PC: Ryzen 5 3600/16GB RAM/GTX 660 2GB/Windows 10 Pro x64

It's already available, even on android, if you're rooted.

You just need to change this line in ppsspp.ini file under [Graphics] from:-

Code:
ForceMaxEmulatedFPS = 0

to

Code:
ForceMaxEmulatedFPS = 30

And it would force 60 FPS games to run with 30 FPS internally.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: FPS Limiter Request Option
I already had did it, but worked just on menu. I tried God of War. The menu runs at 30 FPS and 100%, in game the FPS are more than 30.

That doesn't sound right.

Here's how it looks like for me in game (using Ghosts of Sparta), with the FPS locked down to 30 FPS on Windows r1163:-

(It's showing 30 FPS, as it should)

There must be another reason why it's not working for you. Perhaps other Android users can chime in on the matter.

Just to show it's not a fluke, here are a few more screenshots from Chains of Olympus, locked down to 30 FPS:-

(see attached screenshots)

RE: FPS Limiter Request Option
I'll try again.

Now is working, but the Speed still is slow, and the screen is flashing. Use Unlock CPU Clock is better.

RE: FPS Limiter Request Option
interesting option was in old unofficial chinese build with video. is called VPS limit. When putting 20 or 30 VPS limit, many games went to full speed or just going faster, and this helped setup a frame skip option to the game does not twinkle. why there was such an effect?

RE: FPS Limiter Request Option
This option really works in many games positively. For example, Colin macray 2005, tomb raider anniversary, Wipout Pure / Very demanding the emulator games at exhibiting MAx Fps Limit = 20 or 30, are working at full speed on my phone Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
But there are games in which the opposite effect, such as mortal kombat, there the game starts to go slow. Therefore, if only enable this feature in the settings it would be very convenient. Please add this option in the menu emulator.
Another said that the True Color option when you turn affects the performance of some games slowing down the rate of 10-15 per cent. Is it possible to also return this option in the settings?
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
