RE: windows 8 vs windows 7
Well, no matter how weak they are nowadays, games which require 256/512+ ram can't keep it up with virtualization, and yeah login screen sucks.

Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts

RE: windows 8 vs windows 7
Windows 7. Windows 8 has sooo much bugs! Do not get it. Warning! My friend had it and his own operating system locked him out. Not only that Windows 8 uses a different file system then any other Windows. In fact on Windows 8 Pro you cannot touch any of the files on your partition unless you are on Windows 8. Aka, he has to now do a 3-4 hour trouble shoot just to get his files back. Windows 8 is a rip off. Don't buy it.

Side note: Windows ME, Windows Vista, and Windows 8 are all horrible OSes. Many bugs and compatibility errors.

RE: windows 8 vs windows 7
wait o,o I'm dual booting windows 8 pro and windows 7 ultimate now.. And I have access to my windows 8 partition and files when I'm on win7.. and even if you think it uses a different file system... well it's false, it simply ntfs.. like usual from microsoft. Anyway, if you have any problem you can always use a linux live-cd to retrieve your file Smile

Bugs? I have plenty of my friends using this os.. and no ahah no bugs at all... maybe your friend just got a pirated version of win8 or he doesn't know how to use a pc... Smile

xp = fast but the visualization sucks
vista = nice but slow as hell
win7 = nothing new its more like xp + vista. its also have touch hidden touch screen that hasnt been implemented.
win8 = New rev of win plenty of major bug sometimes slow and make gaming performance slow. Touch screen and next gen of win 7

RE: windows 8 vs windows 7
A windows 8 user since RTM here, beside a few program,it run better than windows 7.
...and some really need to learn a few thing about OS.Basicly, just download a third party program to clear the metro and you are good to go.
