Rainbow Language in PPSSPP & Games [Ubuntu 13.04 64bit]
Hello guys!
I found your great emulator 2 days ago, and I'm totally impressed by your work.

Everything's working on my notebook, every game I own run in fullspeed (just without Sountracks, but that's not a deal for me).
I'm always using the latest build, right now v0.7.6-799-gc439796. (SDL)
(I wasnt able to compile the Qt-Version for some reason, but I want it so badly..)

I tried the ISO of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep [EU],
it's working fine, but I cant change the language/region of the emulator.

I tried the emulator on my girlfriends tablet, I was able to choose the language, and the game's default settings were in german too, just not on the PC.

Can someone help me maybe? :3

Thanks in advice !

RE: Language in PPSSPP & Games [Ubuntu 13.04 64bit]
Once you Start the Emulator (Without loading any Game) you can then select Settings to the right, go to System, and on the bottom you'll see "Language(s)".

For the Sake of easiness in German too:

(Also nichts oben in der Menüleiste rumsuchen Wink )

I'm using the newest version from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ too. x:

Pretty much Busted my version while attempting to screenshot the current folder (strg+alt+print) which fucked up the whole folder...

So i deleted everything, extracted the newest version and STILL was able to load the German language set. So i don't really know where the problem is. (Using Win 7 x64 though!)

Ger

(Benutze allerdings Win7 x64!) (Maybe a MAC only problem?/Vielleich nur ein Problem von MAC?)

RE: Language in PPSSPP & Games [Ubuntu 13.04 64bit]
I dont know how it works on Mac, because I'm using Ubuntu Big Grin
I could run the Windows-Version on my Machine(via Wine), but it crashes at the startup <.<

Well then sorry Tongue

Try deleting PPSSPP and re-extract it to see if there's a change?

Ger

Achso, sorry Tongue

RE: Language in PPSSPP & Games [Ubuntu 13.04 64bit]
Nah, I think im going to try EVERYTHING out that come in my mind, till then, maybe here's somebody gonna post a solution who uses Linux and know whats going on :O

Edit*: I found out how :3
If you're a Linux/Ubuntu user, you have to open the ppsspp.ini file in your homefolder and scroll down till [SystemParam] then change the value of language to 4 (4=german)

I still want the Qt-version of PPSSPP <.<..
Somebodeh, help a poor guy, to play in fullscreen :'D..

RE: Language in PPSSPP & Games [Ubuntu 13.04 64bit]
Yeah, I have read that one already, but it didnt help me.
I tried this several times, I get always only errors <.<

Edit*:
git clone git://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp.git && cd ppsspp
git submodule update -i
./b.sh
cd build
./PPSSPPSDL

This one works, that's what I've used all the time,

But this one dont work:
cd Qt
qmake PPSSPPQt.pro && make
./PPSSPPQt

PPSSPPQt isnt in the folder..?

Edit**:
Now I got it to work with :
git clone git://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp.git && cd ppsspp
git submodule update -i
./b.sh
cd Qt
qmake PPSSPPQt.pro ; make
./PPSSPPQt

Testing only Windows emu builds
