So, nope, it doesn't work like that...
The developers do what they want Wink

However, everybody can contribute to PPSSPP.
As I can see on this thread, annubbis is working on the online support at the moment Smile

RE: xlink kai
I'm not interested so much in playing online. What I'm more curious about is...can you play with a friend just across the room? Local multiplayer or something?

I missed having fun leaving behind my cousin in Rathalos' mercy on MH Freedom Unite.

RE: xlink kai
im interested in both online and local multiplier across a room or so Smile
the latter should be easier in my opinion

all we can do is wait i guess

and about donating so that they would make it priority, even though i like that idea, i guess it can't work like that sadly Sad

Any news on that subject is old news... There is currently no place I know of that shows updates on that matter, except for right here (not even Coldbird's forum from what I saw). If anything is announced regarding PPSSPP Ad-Hoc support it will surely be posted here.

so do we need coldbirds forum alive to complete this multiplayer feature or can we have multiplayer on ppsspp without coldbird because if we need coldbird i'll just leave now since i know what happens when work is dependent on a missing person.

We can implement online support without Coldbird...

cool but seriously when people go missing on the internet for more than a month more often than not they wont come back, seen a lot of forums and ideas go down that way

RE: xlink kai
Just a quick update and some clarifications about what I'm doing here...

This is NOT a xlink kai implementation. It's based on Pro network and it will use their infrastructure( http://pro.coldbird.uk.to/status/ ). This means that it will have the same limitations/advantages. For instance, you guys will be able to play along with real psps online, but local play won't work. Also ping will be a huge problem(yes, there are solutions for that too)

So, the initial goal is simply to get ProAdhocing working just like it works in the psp. After that, I'll look into the issues and try to improve it. Most likely we will end up with something pretty decent after a while.

I hate posting stuff in forums, so don't expect me to be here often. Check the current development status here: https://github.com/igorcalabria/ppsspp/t...oc-support

And no, I don't have a "release date", I'm just working on my own pace.
