My saved data is not recognized by v1.14.4

I had some crashes on GTA Chinatown Wars lately (something that never happened to me with Liberty and Vice City Stories) so I thought to update to the latest version. Now PPSSPP doesn't recognize my savedata files for those games, although the files still exist on the PPSSPP directory. What can I do?

EDIT - Nevermind, the new version locates the saves to My Documents, moved my save data there and it works. Although I would like to configure it so it uses the PPSSPP folder itself.

It only uses the My Documents path in two conditions:

1. When it cannot create a test file under PPSSPP's folder (typically happens when it's in Program Files.)
2. When there's an "installed.txt" file next to PPSSPPWinodws64.exe that says to use My Documents in it.
