Tell me if you like this :p
Title says it all, just wanted to post it for fun and what people would think.
Excuse also the small misalignments and size stuff, it was just to get a general idea:

Tell me your thoughts!

RE: Tell me if you like this :p
That's nice, but although the XMB is very practical for a PSP which have a D-Pad, this configuration can be not as good as on a real PSP on PC or on a smartphone with Android for example...
What do you think about that ?

♦ Intel Core i7-2630QM | 4 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Debian Testing

very nice, maybe for the games make something like import under ppsspp,so that you don't have to load the game for it to get saved but just point it to the path

Easy, you can select the horizontal menu with a press and then scroll the vertical menus with your finger and select them, when you press one menu the other gets hidden. It's pretty simple.

My idea on that was PPSSPP checking for (a) specific folder(s) that you have your isos/eboots on and list them all.

OK, that's interesting for Android devices Smile
But how about Windows ?

Come on! The answer is easy!
1. Mouse, same as Android
2. Keyboard, as a controller
3. XBOX360 controller as on PSP/PS3/PSX(not PSOne, I mean that ill fated Japanese PS2-DVR hybrid)

Mind to share it? or make a pull request?? Tongue

Umm... Why not, after all ! Wink
We just have to become familiar with this if this is implemented one day Smile

RE: Tell me if you like this :p
Really cool concept. I'd also like to see the PSP XMB as the emulator's interface.

RE: Tell me if you like this :p
But now the problem can be that the XMB is the property of Sony... So, can we use a similar configuration whitout problems ? Huh

Yep, it's not XMB actualy and there are dozens of concepts like these around the net for anything you can think of. The icons and the fonts are free to use after the official XMB creation tool release.

It's won't be functional, I have no idea how I could port something like this to the actual code PPSSPP uses. How did Henrik do the UI? I could tell my cousin to do that with the tools that the current UI was made of, he'd be better than me.

RE: Tell me if you like this :p
I agree this looks awesome. I would love it if the XMB was used for the menus. Looks classy. Even without it though PPSSPP still has the best looking interface I've seen for any emulator.
