PS2 emulator?
Just curious but would it be possible to emulate a PS2 on Android phones now? If not, I'm curious as to why? The specs of the latest mobiles have quick a lot more power than the PS2. Has anyone ever really thought about making it happen?
All of this is just my curiousity speaking. Not actually asking for one >.>

RE: PS2 emulator?
i went under the name ppssppikachu before losing my password....i did a thread on this subject and really ,unless you want your phone to become an oven ,there is no point in running 4,7 gigs games on your phone.Dreamcast is a bit more realistic for now because gd roms are 700 mb .there is a alpha version of the dreamcast emu but its not open source.

RE: PS2 emulator?
If you search the forums you'll find we already had this thread. In short, not likely, because the PS2, despite not being that much more powerful than the PSP, is one hell of a lot more complicated and very, very difficult to emulate quickly. PCSX2 is pretty much a miracle and it's tightly optimized for x86, porting that for ARM would be soooo much work.
