for best performance you need to disable frameskip, buffered rendering, and vertex cache.
vertex cache is what's actually causing fast blinking.

I do have a really strange bug though.
often the save isn't loaded properly(some settings are changed, half the content is no longer unlocked, data on memory card is enabled)
when this happens I have to open a different game in ppsspp and load pjd2nd again, after that it will load the save without problems.

the thread name was "hatsune miku project diva 2" and what i search was "hatsune miku project diva 2nd" no wonder that i cant find that
yeah every display become normal after i disabled them, thanks

about that save game bug
it only occured to me if i used my save data from jpcsp, theres a dialogue box saying "cant load extra data" but after i overwrite it there's no problem after that

I got new issues here, it didnt happened for few days but now everytime I finished a song the screen goes black (crash?) and i had to close the PPSSPP but the data was saved so it wasnt fatal but still annoying. I didnt know why but maybe because i change a setting? look the log data at the attachment

RE: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
turns out pjd 2nd, ppsspp, and encrypted savedata don't go well together.
loading the save once with encryption disabled has fixed it for me.(i didn't even have to save after that)

RE: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
I have the latest version of ppsspp, and the Project Diva translated, I can use the directiones (arrows) on the menu and so on, but in game (on the songs) the game doesn't recognize the arrows ._. I can go all the songs with just circle and cross and then, some fails because I can't do nothing with the arrows...

Some advice? tomorrow I will try other iso of the game (I hope the problem is the iso)

I'm playing in a Samsung Ultrathin AMD A6, 4gb RAM and 2.6Gh Dual. PPSSPP runs pretty smooth and I really like the performance, so~ yay, I want to fix that little problem

SAMSUNG Ultrathin 535U3C
AMD A6-4455M Dual-Core Accel (2.6GHz)
AMD Radeon™ HD 7500G Graphics
4GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 8 64-bit

Humble but Proud of it

Did you press only the arrows? You need to press for example triangle with up at the same time. Quote from wiki: "Double notes are denoted by an arrow symbol with a "W". These are like regular notes except you need to press the button AND the directional pad equivalent at the same time."

PC Specs:
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6700 3.2 Ghz
4gb ddr3 ram
Geforce GTS 450 1 GB DDR3
Windows 7 x64

LOL you are right (?) I had no idea those were double. Welp, I can say that the game runs perfectly

RE: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
A few days ago I noticed this game had a hanging problem when trying to view any of the PV songs(basically a watch/listen to the song mode instead of play), but now it's working in the latest builds. Quite relaxing to listen to when trying to fix other games. Tongue

For fun, here's a screenie:

RE: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
the crashing problem is not yet fixed, everything is blank and freezes every time after the song result that the option by pressing esc button didnt even appeared. i think it was because the loading screen was failed to load

just find out that on Diva room music box and after entering MP3 Music Playback menu I cant press any button except L button. the only solution was to reset the PPSSPP

*decided to make this a reply so i can upped this thread

RE: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
Are you using the latest GIT build? I'm having zero issues with this game on Windows at the moment, aside from the timer modes not working(that's not really an issue though..)

What platform? We can't really help without details.

4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux

Does it happen if you let the song fail/let the song meter run out? Or is it only if you succeed?

RE: Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd
it doesnt matter whether i failed or not, the screen goes blank after i press return or if i want to replay the song

this blank screen also happening after exiting shop & diva room

//-----------------------------

ugh i just find out that i also cant press anything on pause screen
the pressed sound was out but it didnt do anything
sigh i need to reset the game

I just try this
- remove my old save folder (memstick) which i always copy from previous build some even from JPSCP
- new game
- make new save game
....
- ALL OF MY ISSUES ARE GONE

dam*it
sorry daxtsu for the trouble

strange though why that folder affect the game if i remember that folder also cause the latest build to crash the whole PPSSPP (not happening to 0.7.6 public release)

now im gonna update the page one and said that this game works PERFECTLY
