CWCheat Broken Hex Values?
I am currently replaying through Final Fantasy VII via psp 2000 and poploader, and trying to use some after battle modifiers to help my progress along with cwcheat.

I am running into a situation where I enable the After Battle AP MOD with a hex value of 0x00001388, which should be worth 5000 in DEC. However in game after battle the Hex code is read as 0x13881388 and I end up getting 327685000 AP instead.

If I enable a cheat and leave the value at 0 it reads as 65536.

Can anybody help me? This is not the only game this happens on, very frustrating.

RE: CWCheat Broken Hex Values?
Cheats works fine and there are no differences how they work between different games, but many games themselves doesn't store values at same location when emulated since PPSSPP isn't accurate enough, so when using cheats made for psp you're likely patching something else or the cheat itself is patching something else(ie instruction that handles values and not a value which you could edit the way you're doing), it could also simply be broken which is just as likely as psp is full of completely broken, poorly made and incorrectly ported cheats.

On a side note, there is no such thing as PSP version of FFVII, unless you're using actual PSP which has firmware-included PSOne emulator, no idea about that;p.

RE: CWCheat Broken Hex Values?
In that case your best bet would be to try different version of the cheat plugin or completely different cheat plugin(pretty sure all cheating plugins for psp supported cwcheat format;p).

PSOne games are emulated on psp via pops and popsloader allows any pops version you want, so it's possible some cheat plugins simply doesn't handle that situation correctly, they might even require specific pops version.
