Myea, 7300 is not a good card for this. For Wii its almost useless.
I wonder what kind of advice you want? Some will say, just buy a GTX 1080 or Titan and you will be golden. Of course if you have ~ 1000$. But if we are talking sane choices, I would say anything better than GeForce GT 220 and you will run PPSSPP on stable FPS and bit better card and you will run Dolphin well too.

Here is a great list that tells performance brackets for cards.
If you can afford it the GTX 1050 Ti is a solid low end choice. It still blows most hi end cards out of the water and costs less.

Everything is Hitsuzen!

You can find GT 730 1GB gddr5 (make sure it is the gddr5 version) or gt 640 1GB gddr5 (same card the 730 is a rebrand) for $30 or so used/sometimes new.

Yup. GT 730 [1Gb /GDDR5] is a nice choice too. I use it in my PC.

RE: PPSSPP Emulator, Graphics Card Suggestions?
Thanks for all the advice from all of you, would GT 730 [1Gb /GDDR5] run the wii emulator without stutter, hoping to nail them both with one card. Just to add, dont mind spending about 200 pounds, 300 dollars, just wanted to make sure it fits in my motherboard, hoping for the best one for around that price which is compatible with the AMD Athlon II X4 640.

Thanks

Alex

Would this be the card you recommended, and would this be better than what has been mentioned, around 140.00 pounds on amazon.

Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050Ti WF2 OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E

Thanks all.

RE: PPSSPP Emulator, Graphics Card Suggestions?
Your Athlon II X4 is going to be a far far far bigger bottleneck to running Dolphin then almost any modern"ish" GPU will.

But in my emulation PC I use the GT 640 version (same as the rebranded 730) to run PCSX2, Dolphin and other emulators. I don't have any performance issues, but I have a i5 4690k for my CPU.

If you really want to run Dolphin at 4k with lots of graphical enhancements then you will want a stronger GPU. If you want to play it like it looked like on the GC/Wii then you don't need that much.

Most emulators require a really good CPU and a so so GPU. Most native PC games require a so so CPU and rely on a strong GPU.

Sorry for being a pain to all, my battery is only 450w, would this make any impact on performance, might even upgrade the motherboard, anyone know what the fatest i7 is, maybe bang the 1050TI in a i7, supposed to be top end speed, faster than alternatives like Pentium.

You peeps have been great, hopefully get this sorted.

RE: PPSSPP Emulator, Graphics Card Suggestions?
The fastest reasonable i7 is the 7700k but an i7 for emulation or even most gamming is overkill. Almost no games and all emulators do not take advantage of the extra cores.

An i5 would be the best choice. If you want the top of the line and money is no object then currently the i5 7600k is the fastest i5, but the 6600k is not much slower nor is the 4960k. So depending on the prices you get and the motherboard deals you find any of these 3 would be good.

As far as power supplys go as long as your supply is a good one...... 450w coukd handle a i5 6600k, 2SSD, 16GB RAM, 3 good 120mm fans and a GTX 1060 with some headroom for more fans or maybe a HDD.

RE: PPSSPP Emulator, Graphics Card Suggestions?
This is a website people commonly use when building a system:

http://pcpartpicker.com/

It automatically calculates the necessary wattage.

You can also compare CPUs using a site like this:

http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Int...3885vs3647

Pay the most attention, for emulation, to the "SC" scores. "QC" and "MC" aren't typically good measures for emulation (as noted by TkSilver.)
