Upload the log to mediafire, set up a account on there, its free to do so, then copy the link it gives you, and paste that to this thread. Cool
Good idea. I used sendspace instead though, I didn't feel like making a mediafire account :3

So here's the logs - http://www.sendspace.com/file/heidfx

RE: LittleBigPlanet
Yeah, it uses splines and beziers afaict that are unsupported right now, and eventually crashes because of them. I tried hacking them out, which makes even less show (you didn't think that was possible, did you?), but it seems to run through things...

Also, it uses signal jumps, which are also unsupported. We have some test cases for them, though, and it's great to see a game using them so early that we can test them easily.

Jeez, never would've guessed that the PSP version of LBP would've used so many fancy, hard to run things :/. Also, quick question - how the heck does the intro cut scene work? I was under the impression that ffmpeg hadn't been implemented yet O_o

RE: LittleBigPlanet
LittleBigPlanet actually uses the Bink video codec (on the CPU) to decode the video itself and play it. Same with the audio. So it works great.

What other games do is send video data to the "Media Engine" chip on the PSP, which decodes it and sends it back. That's the part we don't have emulated yet, and plan to use ffmpeg for. So in this case it's nice that LittleBigPlanet is doing something different.

RE: LittleBigPlanet
That makes sense, seeing that cutscene start playing freaked me out Big Grin. Shame the rest of the game doesn't work :/

No no no, I posted that comment when it was completely outside of any category, that was what I meant with the message... The thread was outside the correct category.
