Working fine here, nothing changed affecting the buffered rendering or text that could've broken it between then and now.

Also, freezing prior to video playback will be solved as soon as ector merges Unknowns latest changes.

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
My computer with an nvidia card can see the text with buffered rendering off, my other computer without one can't. That's why I thought something changed.

But anyway, to try to find out what is causing the issue, I don't think it's the text that is missing, but something on top of the text blocking it.

I've taken 2 screenshots to show an example of that. The first screenshot is with Buffered Rendering [Off]. The second screenshot is it [On]

It is a known issue with AMD/ATI cards on Windows for this game (no text even with BR OFF https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/2018), thanks for the investigation into the issue, though.

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
I found another minor graphics bug, on world map sometimes the airship looks like as if some filtering was turned on (but i dont use any filtering at all), and its interesting that not in every part of the map is like that

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
hey can you help me? first thx for this great emulator.
I have a few problems:
in a battle the texts are on top of each other
a few animations look strange, for example the thunder in the intro or the mist of the dragon, also the introduction animation of summoning and
with the linear filtering on it has green parts

Those are known issues, you need to wait until devs implement\improve beziers\splines https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/2195

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
And255, these are known issues, a quick search would have saved you time and us reading another post.

First thing first, make sure you're using the newest version off of git (http://ppsspp.org/downloads.html#devbuilds).

The dev's are working on it, but because of the way Android works (as opposed to PC, I won't go into details but you can find information on the forums if you want to), sound issues are very common and will continue to be a problem.

for the text try turning buffered rendering off but it doesn't seem that helps as much on Android as it has with Windows. With that said I have a GS3 i535 and have no problem with text running the most recent build, same goes for on my OUYA.

ALso, I'm so happy to hear the leviathan fight is fixed! I'm actually starting from Final Fantasy 1 and working my way up, so I have some time before I'll get to IV but it's still great to hear!
