RE: Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G
I dunno how that happened..I must not have been scrolled up far enough on the Orphis site to see that. But anyway, it's working fine in 232. This can be moved to playable.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G
It basically has the exact same compatibility as MHFU, so if one works, they all work. If one breaks, they all break. Tongue

As for where you can get the patch these days, I wouldn't have a clue. I've had my ISO patched for years. I deleted the patch files afterward..

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G
Hmmm I found team HGG english patch, but it seem you need psp to patched the iso, I don't have it.
Does anyone find a way to patch it without real psp?

just put your clean MHP2G clean ISO to "memstick\ISO" folder, then put the Patcher to "memstick\PSP\GAME" folder

run the patcher using PPSSPP, then Press "PATCH"
next, run your MHP2G from the "ISO" folder on PPSSPP

have fun

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G
Hi!

My game often crashes when I enter the kitchen and the game wants to notify me that one of my felynes fighters have upped a level. Usually after a couple of reboots the game runs on fine. This time I've rebooted the game a billion times and even upgraded to the new PPSSPP 1.1.1, and it's just determined to crash me at the kitchen entrance. I'm running this on Mac OSX.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, besides never stepping into the kitchen or seeing my lovely cats ever again?

Thanks!

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G
First thing that comes to my mind when I hear about random crash that eventually always happens is a question - do you reload your game from savestates or normal in-game saves after reboot?

Savestates while very nice feature of emulators will preserve all bugs and keep the game in a state of running without reboot for a very long time which even on actual hardware is very bad especially for poorly coded games which unfortunately MH series is. In other words you really do want to reload the game from normal in-game save at least once in a while.

Other than that it could be some settings you're using or cheats, so maybe try restoring settings to default and reboot again.

If nothing helps, you could check log to provide more info, not sure if mac version has log, but you could also just share the save that leads to crash.

Thanks a bunch! I used in game saves and default settings. In the end just relentless restarting got me through. After about 20 times I was finally let into the kitchen without crashing Big Grin
