RE: Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast
Well, guess what, the game is actually reaching gameplay but you have to guess the menu combinations to reach it. It has some serious graphic bugs and it will always crash when it will reach an "Unsupported bezier curve" which is the death factor to quite alot of games that are tough to debug. http://report.ppsspp.org/temp/recent/gam...00262_1.01

Can be moved to Menu/Intro btw... Tongue

RE: Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast
No prob. I'm checking the disassembler. It helps alot. There is a way for some games to buy time/ignore some errors that are reported gamebreaking here but it will result into weird stuff most of the times. Same rare times it will help you find what you're looking for. Right now I'm checking for example what's wrong with 0x09FDE9D0 on Tekken 6.

It's not really playable, it will always crash when it will reach an "Unsupported bezier curve" state which is not never more than 20 seconds ingame and that kind of error is a pain in the a** to debug.
Fixing that issue would save all those games that will hang on this message:

RE: Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast
The game goes further, it still doesn't show any menus but it won't crash anymore when you start a race, you can actually (KINDA, I'll explain why...) play the game. Now I say kinda because the game suffers from a gamebreaking bug. When you will reach the 3rd part of the race there is somekind of a light effect that blacks out the screen and you are able to see only a couple of stuff like the smoke that come out of the car and the grass. On a sidenot the game suffers from some SPS.

RE: Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast
The game seems lately a bit more playable but it suffers from weird graphical bugs and the audio is a complete mess, sounds start and stop randomly volumes are messed up and same for pitch, like sounds get played at a wrong frequency rate.

yeap the weird high pitch sound is notable with games that show in half screen, other resolution etc.Weird Big Grin it's like screen and sound are compressed

FFMPEG/ffdshow... Not an issue of PPSSPP directly.
