I heard that Windows 10 will be released by the end of July this year. So what are your thoughts? Would you want to use it or still use your old rig?

Just asking xD

RE: Windows 10: Would you want to use it?
im still an XP user and every time i seen someone move to new windows there is tons of frustrations and lack of some options we used to like in windows 8 lack of start replaced by that metro

why they dont give us option to choose and forcing us to switch

biggest problems had gamers like when win 7 come out and that god dam "run as admin" option
there should be option next to it run all as admin cause if ur on admin account than why the F### not?

imagine if ppsspp from next new version removed half of options and replace only some with new which are bad or unclear and even less with just few good

only cool feature i seen in windows 8 was built-in pdf reader that is really step forward after that many years wow

is that what any 1 with brain would do to their users?

i believe win 10 will have tons of cool features but will be as much garbage as windows 8

i hope it will be better cause i will need 1 day switch to new windows but i live to long on this planet to believe in microsoft

just you wait when win 10 comes out and just look how internet will flood with posts/messages that some games/programs are not working anymore im more than sure that will happen

its same like with cell phones i got nokia X3 this brick
http://img.bazarek.pl/140409/10911/13816...faa9f9.jpg

and i just plug it to pc or connect via bluetooth download on it any MP3 from my pc and im free to set any song to ringtone message sound or even alarm sound

and when my friend did buy cell phone with windows phone OS or what ever its called i was struggling like 1 hour how the F### set mp3 file to ringtone
how to move files inside phone
well at last i was able to play it

but it turns out song cant be longer that 45secs or 60 i dont remember for you to being able to set it as ringtone WTF?!?!?!?!

wai? can someone explain or even defend it?

make no mistake DO NOT EVER BELIEVE OR LEAVE HOPE IN MICROSOFT NEVER EVER

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

RE: Windows 10: Would you want to use it?
I'm still using Windows 7 at the moment and Windows 10 doesn't interest me.
The only reason I keep using Windows is gaming.
I plan to do a dual-boot with Debian 8 on my PC pretty soon Smile

RE: Windows 10: Would you want to use it?
I recently upgraded to 8.1, so far I'm satisfied there, but in a year from now, I might try out 10 to check it out, I made 8.1 look and feel like 7, easy enough, what worries me is driver compatibility on 10 which is why I rather wait.

RE: Windows 10: Would you want to use it?
Nah, I'll stick to Windows 8.1 for the time being. Windows 10 feels like it'll be released in a fragmented state, where you have to pay tenfold in apps to get an OS with the same functionality as Win7 or 8.

RE: Windows 10: Would you want to use it?
I'll get to Windows 10 when Microsoft releases it.

I hate Windows 8.1. I hate its stupid menu and lots of small things.

In addition, after I bought my laptop and installed Windows 8.1 It started to have performance issues with the hard disk... Sometimes it looks like it stopped a second, blocking my programs during that... It's really annoying and I hope that formating the HD and installing a new Windows will solve that.
