RE: God Eater Burst
Okay, now after 0.7.6-799, since the load fixes have been merged into master, Fallen Angel Egg actually works!

Will do some further testing to see whether the rest of the missions are playable.

EDIT:- Main story mission with Sakuya still freezes after the cutscene with her briefing the player.

EDIT2:- On a restart it works just fine. Huh. Still hit or miss.

EDIT3:- Okay, I figured out how to replicate this rather tricky newer(?) issue now

Steps to replicate the issue without fail (in 0.7.6-799-windows-x86):-

0. Load your previous saved game (since loading works for this game now, makes testing a lot easier)

1. Start a mission.

2. Abandon it.

3. Start another (different) mission that uses a different area or map

4. PPSSPP will hang at a black screen/or get stuck at an infinite loading screen.

Exceptions to the rule:-

4a. If you restarted the same mission you abandoned in the same PPSSPP session, it doesn't hang. (i.e. You started Fallen Angel Egg, abandoned it, and then attempt it again, it will proceed as usual)

4b. Or if you abandon the mission, save, then restarted PPSSPP, loaded your save, then tried a different mission, it'll work just fine.

4c. Performing successive missions that utilize the same area (e.g you do tutorial missions 1 to 5 in a row without any deviations) doesn't cause the issue. However, switching from a Tutorial mission to a different mission with a different area will cause the issue. (e.g. from tutorial 2 to Fallen Angel Egg mission and vice versa)

Oh well, still major progress done for this game anyway, it's now almost fully playable, if you can circumvent the issue by either performing a mission, saving then restarting each time, especially if the next mission involves a different area. I've figured out now why doing Cowboy right after Devil's Tail doesn't cause any issues, it's because they use the same area.

Logfile for the interested:- http://www.mediafire.com/?aazmdma18m5ufsd

For this logfile, I loaded a save game, started tutorial 3, abandoned it, saved, then started the Cocoon story mission (different area to load), which then ended up with the hang and a black screen after a working cutscene with Sakuya.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz

ohh this is confusing meConfused, well i use latest ppsspp 0.7.6 809 and play this games, this what happen:

first,

when i play this games from the start[new game],there's no music or voice at all, after second mission it still stuck.that's well known thing.

[b]second,

i got this info from somewhere(dun remember),i'm editing the ppsspp ini files,the [b]AutoLoadDShow = False =to AutoLoadDShow = True
and there's voice and music in games though, also itcan passes the second and third mission without freezesExclamation

what affect this though, incase i wondering how it able to passes through the cutscenes and mission,if i disable autoloaddshow in third mission(after booting and load again)it will freezes and looping enemy manager*********instead,if enable autoloaddshow i could passes the mission just fine.what affect it though?

edit:it actually doesn'nt crash lol if i disable autoloaddshow,it can load the mission fine sometimes,i wonder what could be the couse.

my sub weapon:

RE: God Eater Burst
v0.7.6-837-g315559a, no crashes, however some random freezes for a second, I'm using Windows, Dual core 2,3 ghz NVIDIA 9600 GT gpu,
you might already know of it I think, it happens only in gameplay while doing attacks like a quick frame freeze.

it has been moved to playable, the only flaw I find would be the freezes whenever
I swing the sword or blast my way for a split second freeze, either way RESPECT to all of the coders! Smile
