Exclamation Write your GAMING HISTORY!!
Hi guys , I thought this would be a cool topic so I started a thread about it.
In this thread , you all guys will share your gaming history including your inspirations , experience or whatever.
Ok so lets start , here's my history.

I am 16 years old , pretty ancient guy Big Grin
I have no idea why but I had Sega Genesis in my house before I was grown enough to play it. I loved it so much , in fact my dad had bought me a cartridge that had about 32 Sega Genesis games , I remember me and my brother play Side Pocket , Streets of Rage , Pacman , Rambo etc. on it , so damn fun!! I miss those days!
In 2003 , we got our first Computer ever , it was Pentium 4 1.7Ghz , I always said it was the best computer of that time lol
I played so much PC games on it , Mame 32 and Sega Blaster introduced me to emulators , so Sega Genesis wasn't anymore needed.
In 2008 , I was so much interested in PS2 games , I loved Tekken Tag Tournament and other amazing PS2 games.
So in 2009 we demanded PS2 and in January 2010 we got it Big Grin
PS2 introduced me to the best game ever "Shadow of the Colossus"
As the days passed , me and my brother started watching Naruto , we learned that Naruto Storm 2 was only on Xbox 360 and PS3 , the PS2 era had ended.
In mid 2011 , we got a new Xbox 360 Big Grin Ahhhh , I remember that dayyyyy!!!
Last year after my 10th exams , I bought a new PSP 3000 for its awesome exclusives. I have played a lot games on it , I have almost every good homebrew on it including all emulators.
I still have 360 with a lot of games and I love it, I plan to buy PS4 next year or in 2016. Rolleyes

About 6 months ago , I bought new Windows 8.1 Tablet "Lenovo Miix 2 8" , its awesome ! I am currently learning programming and developing a game "Resident Evil - Salvage Hunting" on it Big Grin

Timeline :

SAGA GENESIS = 1999 - 2010 (It stopped working in 2010)
PC = 2003 - 2012
PS2 = 2010 - 2011 Mid
Xbox 360 = 2011 - Present
PSP = 2013 - Present
Windows 8.1 Gaming = 2014 - Present

I have never had any Android phone , sounds weird but I really have nothing to do with cell phones.

So that was my little story , what's yours? Heart

RE: Write your GAMING HISTORY!!
I don't remember first time I played a game, and I don't have a "game history". ^^

The game I really played first was the NFSU2 on a very poor PC, had I Celeron D and a strange onboard card with 16Mb of memory. ^^

In 2010 I bought my first videogame, a PS2, OMG was awesome, the game I more played is Winning Eleven 10, I loved it, then also played some NFS games, Medal of Honor, GTA SA...This year I bought my PS3, it's pretty awesome, like to play BF3, NFS Rivals, PES 2015, and others. Now I'm building a basic PC gamer, not too weak, just for play some games, even it running in low or medium settings, I'll upgrade with a better configuration soon.

As you can see, my "game history" is crap and very recent, my dad doesn't like games and never let me play games when a kid, he still doesn't like, but now is better than before, at least now I have my videogame and a PC.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

Present day.. Age: 24

My list in no particular order, some were my fathers consoles/handhelds:

Atari 2600, QuickShot Supervision, Game Gear, GameBoy Colour, GameBoy Advance, Master System, Mega Drive [x2], PC, Laptop, Dreamcast [x3], Saturn, PS1, PS2, PS3 [x2], PSP-2000 [x2]/3000, GP2X CAANOO, Smartphones [iPhone 4/4S/5/5S | Android G300, OnePlus One],

Now i only use RetroArch on my OnePlus One to carry my historic collection with me at all times. I still own all these consoles; how much do you folks think this collection is worth, i also have the games and cases/booklets intact?

RE: Write your GAMING HISTORY!!
Haseeb, I'm not a PC gamer, I'm a PS3 gamer. Smile My PC currently is crap for games, but this history will change next year. Wink

I don't understand much about PC neither laptop. But, if you have no plan for buy a offboard video card, at least buy one with HD graphics 3000 or 4000 for better performance. If possible, look for a 4th gen processor with hd graphics 4600. If you play in native resolution, I think you won't have problems.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

RE: Write your GAMING HISTORY!!
Short story:

1-I started with Atari.
2- After that, I got the Phantom System (alternative console for Nintendo).
3- After that, I got the Snes (one of the best consoles of all time, in my opinion).
4-Then, I got the Nintendo 64.
5-When Xbox, PS2 and GameCube was launched, I entered in a hibernation mode. Didn’t get any console. At that time I just played my old games… and sometimes I played PS2 and GameCube games in my friend’s houses.
6-I got a Wii!! o/
7-I got a PC (using until today)
8-I got a DS.
9-I got an Android phone (using until today, emulating old stuff).

Yes, you may say I’m a Nintendo fanboy, but I’m not the only one! =p

Remarkable games:
-Atari: Pitfall
-Phantom System (Nintendo): Super Mario 1, 2 and 3.
-Snes: Super Mario World, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III (originally FF6) and Zelda: A Link to the Past (second best game of all time)
-N64: Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time
-PS1: Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and Tactics, Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3.
-GameCube: Resident Evil 4, Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess
-GBA: Zelda Minish Cap
-Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2; and Zelda Skyward Sword (best game of all times)
-DS: Zelda Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass, 999
-PSP: Final Fantasy Tactics (best version).
-PC: Resident Evil 5, Dragon Age 1 and 2, Mass Effect 1,2 and 3, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim and Batman 1. The olds, Doom 3!

I was an Xperia Play gamer until my dog ate my beloved phone!

Now I’m an Xperia ZL/ZQ gamer!
Quad-Core 1.5 GHZ
2GB RAM

It works better, but i miss the gamepad!! T_T'
