Yeah. Seems pretty bad, though. It has that ugly filtering going on by default. Pixel art only looks right with a scanline filter. Also, no modding community or 1.3 availability. Anyone would be better off just using PPSSPP for the PSP version.

Also, the game seems fairly stable at the moment. Without any speedhacks or filtering enabled, the game is very smooth. There are still a few hitches when going through several menus in battles on certain maps.

touch controls in smartphone version is hard, i prefer virtual pad in ppsspp... and easy to cheat, in smart phone you need to be rooted on android to cheat

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Just finished Final Fantasy Tactics. Went through the entire game. Only issue I had was when using a spell that affects most of the characters on the screen (Like when using arithmetics and it hits EVERYBODY). Everything would be fine for the first 5-6 characters that it hit, and then the game slowed to a crawl, like 2-3 fps. The slowdown continued until the unit's turn was over, then everything went back to normal. This is on an Intel Core i7 4790k (4 Ghz), 16 GBs DDR3 RAM, Nvidia 970, Windows 10 (Most recent build), and PPSSPP 1.0.1. and the iso on an SSD.

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Hey, I'm trying to make this game work on my Moto G Android 4.4, I'm using the 1.0.1.0 version of the app. Everything goes pretty decently until the introduction ends, and then the app closes with no error mesagge or whatsoever. Ive tried several times, deactivating some graphic options and the sound, but to no avail. Any advice?

I guess they're not going to fix the bad sound effects.

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Hello, I'm using v1.1.1-97-g437d7b8 on android phone, I have some problem with graphic, texts are too blurry that cannot read. (with frame buffer mode), texts show properly with read memory to GPU mode, but too slow and crash game after select name.
I also tested with the same version and same graphic config on PC, it worked fine.
Anyone have solution for this issue ?
Some screenshot on my phone:

[Image: Screenshot_2015-10-26-22-34-00_zpsdjfwyf3k.png]

my graphic setting (on phone & also on PC) :
Buffered rendering, simulate block ON
Frame skip OFF
Postprocessing shader OFF
Rendering resolution 1xPSP
Mipmap, hardware transform, software skinning, vertex cache, disable slow effect : all ON
Upscale level OFF
Anisotropic OFF

What phone is that? It seems like it's an issue with your device. Do default settings help?

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Yes, I used default setting.
OS: android 4.0.4, CPU: arm v7 1 GHz, GPU: PowerVR SGX531.
I only met this issue when used Frame Buffer mode. When I changed to read memory to GPU or CPU mode, it worked fine, but too slow (50% when menu, 30% when ingame).
I searched on google and found a solution that called unstreched fix, but it's live patch and ppsspp don't support it, what a pity that I can't find unstreched patch with PPF format.

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
In general, don't use "read framebuffers to memory", it's an old hack compatibility option needed for a very small (and shrinking) number of games to work properly. In most other games it causes bugs and crashes.

But it's interesting if that looks fine. Does it help to change the render resolution to 2x or change the display resolution? Is that at native right now, or 1x? Try native?

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
I already test again with render resolution x2 & display resolution native , render x3 & display native, render x2 & display auto , render x1 & display x1 , all of them have same result, ugly text.

Do you mean those sounds that play almost exactly the same on the PSP? Probably not, or are you talking about some specific sound effect?
