RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
BTW, don't use any other Ip Address aside from these:
Using your Phone's Wifi-Hotspot: 192.168.43.1 Using your Home's Router: <IP Address of your Device> (Wifi->Tap the Name of Network->Ip Address: 192.168.0.xxx, 172.168.0.xxx, 192.168.1.xxx, 172.168.1.xxx for xxx=last 3 digits) If you've done nothing wrong and still unsuccessful, Report to onelight's thread to help them in the test. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

Ive tried it so many times with my android phone to connect to my friend using also his android phone. If he is the host using the adhoc server. i pass through the lobby and cant see anything. but his android wont. it prompt " A Network error has occured, current progress will be disconnected". We did perfectly the instructions given here. Change both ip address to 192.168.43.1 ( This is for wifi hotspot right? ) then he open the adhoc server. open ppsspp untick fast memory then go to battle lobby. Is it really compatible with tekken 6? Hmm. how about trying to connect via router? using 2 android phones. what instructions will be done? PLS HELP THANKS A LOT! Im new here. |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
No, tekken6' multiplayer doesn't work in android.
In the Adhoc Compatibility list, most of those "work" games are only working with AdamN's Build. I don't know if they're testing it in Android, we need another list for Android Adhoc Compatibility. In the contrary, that procedure was already confirmed working (router/Wifi-Hotspot) in Android Adhoc-Compatible games. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
I mean those procedures are working in Compatible games only. So We need another or separate Compatibility list. Tekken6 Doesn't work in my tests too.
"AdamN's Build": In the thread Adhoc-compatibility list, they're using a different PPSSPP version that was built for Adhoc Multiplayer (PC version) That's also where they test those games in the list. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot

I don't use jscp since it doesn't support mobile. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue when trying to play Monster Hunter Unite with my friend.
I'm Hotspoting on my Android phone, using Built-in Adhoc Server ppsspp. My friend with his PSP slim (dunno which CWF is), when testing connection at settings, I can see on my phone that he is clearly connected to the hotspot by Infrastructure. But in game when he enters the gathering all, he just enters normaly choosing the channel, but it seems it just doens't connect to my phone hotspot? (at least when I minimize the game to check hes not) Clearly somethings missing, do he have to install the pro thing on his psp? or maybe I'm doing it wrong by using Infrastructure, and should use adhoc instead? Cheers. |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
You really need that plugin in order to change adhoc server in your PSP (we're using adhoc server)
Pro CFW is required to install the Pro Online Client. (It might brick your PSP, if something went wrong) In the seplugins folder find adhocserver.txt : change coldbird.net to 192.168.43.1 / hotspot.txt : put the name/SSID of your Hotspot. http://pro.coldbird.net(PPSSPP's Adhoc is mostly based in Coldbird's Prometheus Server) | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |
