| I hate to ask this but
If a pc tower is wet (inside) and I try to turn it on, what can happen? No, I don't want to let it dry before turning it on. Will it affect the outlet or the house in any way or is the tower the only thing at risk?

If you are not living in some kind of third-world country then at worst you're going to trigger a circuit-breaker (and of course fry your PC, but that's a given). So, you might cut the power to your room (or couple of rooms) shortly. You just need to unplug your PC then, go to your circuit box and flip the circuit breaker again.
