RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Not sure why that is happening That app shouldn't depend on E:/ drive.
Did it create a folder, F:/PPSSPP? |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Do other apps launch? The app shouldn't be touching E:/ at all unless Symbian needs to touch E:/ for something.

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
some app work and some not. i can play some games like asphalt 6, or open office app.. or maybe is it because i use cfw? i'll try back to ofw if it can help you track the problem. but unfortunately i'm far from my PC right know. maybe 2-3 days from now i can revert back to ofw.
p.s. i'm using opera mini right know. is this issue can also caused by my broken accelerometer by any chance? Regards |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Oh I found the issue.
PPSSPP is using Qt on Symbian and Nokia forced Qt to be installed on E:/ because it is too big to fit on C:/ |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
xsacha, why symbian doesnot have display resolution(hw scaler) option? Will bufferd rendering be faster if .75x, .50x like resolutions are added?(i know graphics will become scrap but speed is important in nokia n8)
btw, spiderman 2 runs fine on n8. Settings, bufferd rendering hw transform, sowftware skinning, low bezier curves texture filtering to nearest all hack hack settings enabled except texture coord cpu overcloak set to 25 after a level game may/will crash don't worry next time you start it,it will work fine. And minamoto-kun I have played kizuna drive but one tail cannot be defeated,so kizuna drive is LOL |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
My list of tested games on N8
ben 10 alien force(too heavy black screen with ben's head) ben 10 vilgax attacks(even more heavy than above game it hangs at loading data when press cancel it hangs forever) spider man 3(it lags too much,at first it don't boot,I don't think its playable) ben 10 cosmic destruction(don't even think about it) marvel ultimate allience(playable just like xmen legends 2) street fighter 3(not playable and I thought it would run at full speed) assassins creed(lags but playable) tekken 6(it wont even boot) tekken 5(too slow but I completed it in 2-3 hours) spider man 2(it runs best.1st game which runs smoothly without frameskipping) how is it immpossible to have .5x resolution, android can do it by gltools and it causes 2-10% increase in speed |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
If 'Timer Hack' is turned on, many games will be running faster than what the 'FPS'/'Speed' says. It might say 10-20 FPS but actually be going at maximum speed.

It would be desirable to make it work in more games ...All Symbian ^ 3 Smartphones have the same processors Samsung ARMv6...On the first generation of its restricted to 680 MHz, but Belle Refresh opened up to 1000 MHz...The second generation in Belle FP2 it overclocked to 1300 MHz. "Final Fantasy 3" full speed, playable "Hexyz Force" small lag , playable , almost full speed Nokia E7 |
