Crash on Android lock screen

Hi there. I love this emulator, but I'm having one bug that is making it pretty unusable.

I'm running a non-rooted LG G2 with KitKat 4.4.2. Ppsspp runs fine (had some crashing at first, but followed the setup and got it running really smooth) except when I lock the screen/press the power button.

When I power back on with Ppsspp active I get an all black screen and have to wait for the prompt to close it, nothing responds. If iI hit the home button first, so that ppsspp is still running in the background, I can at least turn on my device and use it, but when I switch to ppsspp it is frozen on a black screen except with the controls overlay.

The only game I have tested with so far is Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. This game seems to be a little touchy, for example it doesnt work in non-buffered rendering. Anyone having the same problem or have an idea what might be causing this?
