RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD
@Metalxrhino maybe I could port it if you show me an example of such code for other mh game, not really into searching for it otherwise, since the game stores loads of scales for every 3D object and it would take quite alot of time to check it.
And for your problem: 55B7 力の解放+2 is NOT "adrenaline +2";p, you can check wiki, probably easier/more accurate than google translate. Adrenaline +2 = 398C 火事場力+2, so your extra line should look like: _L 0x1000013E 0x0000398C http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD
Thanks alot for clearing that up for me! I'm in search of the cheat now, I can't seem to locate it online anymore though. The good news is I usually keep backups of all of the hard-to-find stuff so it'll turn up before long.
I have another question if you don't mind: I've come across some cheats that I simply can't identify. _C0 Syougou Complete _L 0x81754808 0x00BC0001 _L 0x000000FF 0x00000000 _C0 Kunsyou Complete _L 0x817A8344 0x00030001 _L 0x000000FF 0x00000000 _C0 Bulk rewrite of hunting _L 0x81754770 0x003E0001 _L 0x100003E7 0x00000000 _C0 Batch change capture rates _L 0x817545AE 0x003E0001 _L 0x100003E7 0x00000000 I've looked at almost everything with them turned on, turned off, and then all of them solo. Do they do anything at all? Thanks again Luna! |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD
First one I'm not sure, it's something I don't recognize, might be movies which I already had unlocked, it's for 100% some unlockable stuff, since this game marks unlocked stuff the very same way as this cheat does.
Other ones I recognize just looking at the addresses, they're awards and monster killed/captured statistics it mass change to same value, so you'll have cheated stats on your guild card(check page 6) as far as I know those stats doesn't really give you anything(?). It just looks cheated since no player would normally had such numbers, if you already saved your game with those cheated stats and don't want them, you could use my cheat table(bottom of that post), which allows to edit those statistics easily(at least on windows since requires Cheat Engine:]). Edit: I guess I found the size code myself: Code: _C0 Monster size 200% http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD
This is so amazing lol I'm gonna look and see if I can tamper with some float values, 2x is a little large for some of the bigger wyverns but it's absolutely lovely. Exactly what I was asking for, thank you so much! Now i don't need 4x bosses at once for it to be exciting and challenging. I loved this cheat for the same reason previously: harder, more diverse battles without having to cram in lots of monsters. I wouldn't recommend, after testing, using this cheat on anything already enormous, because it makes a Tigrex basically the size of an uragaan. Boy was that a rough fight lol
Thanks so much again, Luna. I'm gonna think about more interesting cheats ideas I can pick your brain about ;p NOTE: I haven't tested this cheat over multiplayer yet, however I would imagine if the host is using this cheat it may carry over, or may cause connection issues altogether. I'll update when I've got some answers~ EDIT: After much testing, this is officially the coolest cheat ever made for MHP3rdHD. It changed up the strategy for just about every single boss. <3<3 EDIT AGAIN: I looked up a float to hex converter and it worked great, a few things to contribute real fast: 1) For those who don't feel like doing it themselves~ Code: _C0 Monster size 150% 2) It seems making the value less than =1.00 it makes the mob disappear. |

EDIT: Luna, it seems the size cheat you made only applies to Monster 1, can you do for a cheat for Monster 2 in the batch? Also It looks like the sub-bosses aren't effected, like Bullfango, is that fixable? or can we just up the size of all mundane mobs? |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD
@Metalxrhino
For second boss monster: Code: _C1 2nd Monster size 200% Also the code works just fine for Bullfango for me, he's just small to begin with, if you change the size to x8 0x41000000 he'll be huge;p. As for all mobs not sure why the other game didn't had it, because pointers for them are around same place, but luckily I saw it so: Code: _C1 small monster #1 size 200% _L 0xE0020000 0x1xxxxxxxx _L 0x6xxxxxxxx 0x40000000 so next one would be: Code: _C1 small monster #2 size 200% Also in quests with only one boss, 2nd boss address will actually be 1st small monster, 1st small monster will be second etc.;p. it's pretty dynamic so I added the 0xE type code for those which doesn't write to address if pointer doesn't exist, so you can even add 10 of such codes and they should be safe to keep activated even when less monster is visible. 5-6 more of such codes should be enough, but I didn't really tested, waiting for FFT0 translation now and then I'll probably "disappear" for a while xD. Edit: Here's a screenshot with baby monster and his upscalled friend;p ^ so yeah each monster visible will need another code even when they're from same species, that's actually nice since you can set different sizes I guess, but it'll be pretty random which get's what size because it's dynamic. Another Edit: and yeah FFT0 in english, I'm off. ;O http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD
Oh oh, ONE more! Can you change the size of your Comrade Cats? ;P
And it really narrowed down variables on all of the cheats by figuring out that floating->hex |

Is there any cheats to make your two felynes invincible? They would make much better distractions if they didn't die so much.

Would it be possible to activate the hp/stamina effects that getting into the bath gives? (150hp / 150 sta until first death) and the Felyne Attack Up (Large) from the Felyne drink? In order to not having to drink/bath every quest. I have researched for long, but I have not found any list with the Felyne Drink Skills ordered or explained. It would be nice to have a list and try to activate them via cheats. |
