Help for Maximum Performance on Tekken 6
Hello,
Just tried PPSSPP emulator. It runs Tekken 6 just fine on my laptop at 60fps. Overall the game's performance on my laptop was quite ok, only like a slight delay during delivering the punches and kicks. Made several tweaks on the game settings but can't get it right for smooth gameplay. Wondering if you guys can help me about this. My specs : System Manufacturer ASUS OS 8 CPU Intel® Core i7-4500U CPU @1.80 GHz 2.40 GHz Memory 4.00 GB Graphics Card GeForce GT 740M Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio |

RE: Help for Maximum Performance on Tekken 6
Disabling Hardware Transform for this game specifically helps with the slight A/V delay when delivering the first punches/kicks in a stage and helps to smoothen things out.
You can keep other settings to the default ones with your capable i7 system. Don't forget to re-enable HW Transform for other games though, they get massive speed penalties when it's disabled. -posted from my mobile- PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

You might wanna also try frameskip . |

Tekken 6 [Full Speed]
Hi all,
Not sure if i am posting in the correct place but i think i have found the settings to run Tekken 6 at full speed on android devices so decided to share with everyone else Im using Nexus 7 (2012) might be different for other devices but worth a shot settings are as followed: ---------------------------------------------------- Graphics: Rendering mode - Mode: Buffered rendering Framerate control - Frameskipping: 4 Auto frameskip: Ticked Prevent Fps from exceeding 60 (speeds up GoW): Ticked Alternative speed: Unlimited Features - Postprocessing shader: off Stretch to display: unchecked small display: unchecked immersive mode: unchecked Performance - Rendering resolution: 2x PSP Mipmapping: unchecked Hardware transform: Ticked Software skinning: Ticked Vertex cache: Ticked Lazy texture caching (speedup): Ticked Retain Changed textures (Speeduo, memory hog): Ticked Low quality splines and bezier curves (speedup): Ticked Texture scaling - Upscale level: off Upscale type: xBRZ Deposterize: unchecked Texture filtering - Anisotropic filtering: off Texture filtering: Auto Hack settings (May cause glitches) - Timer hack: unchecked Disable alpha test (Speedup): Ticked Disable stencil test: unchecked Enable alpha mask (helps 3rd birthday): unchecked Force depth write: unchecked Texture coord speedhack (speedup): Ticked Overlay information - Show FPS counter: Both Show debug statistics: unchecked Debugging - Software rendering (experimental): unchecked ---------------------------------------------------- Audio: SFX volume: 7 BGM volume: 7 Enable sound: Ticked Low latency audio (may stutter): unchecked ---------------------------------------------------- System: Emulation - Fast memory (unstable): Ticked Multithreaded (experimental): Ticked I/O on thread (experimental): Ticked Change emulated PSP's CPU clock (0=auto): 0 Atomic audio locks (experimental): unchecked Developer tools ---- CLICK IT/TAP IT General - Dynarec (JIT): Ticked Show developer menu: unchecked Dump decrypted EBOOT.BIN on game boot: unchecked Enable debug logging: Ticked ---------------------------------------------------- Thats it! If the game still runs slow change Frameskipping up or down by 1. If that doesn't work put it back at 4 then change the postprocessing shader.Try each shader and see which one suite you better Hope this helps. Have fun |
