Luna, I wanted to say thanks for all of your work with the MHP3rd HP display cheat. It works great! I'm very excited about learning more about monster weak spots and weapon attack damage.

But I am having a slight problem with it. I can't get the display to change from white to any other color. The white doesn't work out very well in some of the areas.

Are CWCheat codes from the original MHP 3rd [JP] (ULJM-05800) compatible with MHP 3rd HD (English Patched and/or not)?

@sutriwilnes I updated the statistics cheat table with pretty much all felyne stats + player name from my other cheat table. I couldn't find any save where people shared their felynes, so it doesn't have the two stats for felynes received and sent:]. It's in the same post as before here.
Edit: just make note that most of those settings does not refresh instantly on guild card, they do when you're checking felyne directly or through comrade board, so it's best to edit those there, also lineage requires reloading whole scene to actually show the change on the furball you're editing, like leaving/going in the house or anything.
Another edit: I decided to add other player stuff to the statistics cheat table which otherwise cannot be changed in-game like sex, voice, face, skin tone with listed all default colors as well as simple instructions how to make your own colors, so now trolls can make green characters or pink or whatever.:] Didn't really tested if custom colors save, but I really see no reason why they wouldn'tTongue.


@barbanium this is a ps3 game, anyone can google for existing cw cheats for psp games, however ps3 had no "cw cheats" support. The game uses more memory, it does some code differently, so while it is same game and shares lots of stuff including saves and multiplayer as an advertised feature, cheats will not work between the two:].

Luna, I would like to ask if there is a way to add more custom set slots to the 45 predefined in the game (9 pages). I guess not, as it would be a tough modification.

I have thought about using 2 savestates so I could have 90 custom sets (45 each), although the save would be "split" in two and the progress I make in one of it will not appear in the other one (obviously).

If you're on windows and really need something like that, instead of using savestates, you could just use cheat engine to copy part of memory where those sets are stored, basically saving all sets externally, then doing same thing for next 45 sets and soo on as much as you need, then just write a really simple script for each of those 45x sets which would inject that memory back to game at correct address. You could even assign hotkeys for that and quickly switch between those "sets of sets".;p

Insane amounts of choice doesn't really feel practically usefull through, to me even filling all 45 would end up harder to choose a set than just building it on the fly. ;3

Maybe I will port it to mhfu because while all of this should be made through cw cheats already, from what I actually checked, most of those cheats are badly made to begin with, like for example cheat described as face change using 2 bytes, which will change hair at the same time and not even having proper description to how to change and what. What's the point of creating cheat if not for those that cannot do it by themselves.:] Also I made my cheat table easy to convert to cw cheats and because of that it should also be fairy easy to port for other MH games by just adding some offset here and there, not sure when I would do it so don't wait;p, the summer just seem to kick in full time so it's a bit unpleasant for sitting anywhere near pc.

Converting save of MH.. not really fun thing since the game is stupid with it's saves, but we could transfer character data from one game to another getting same result, I guess there was a homebrew which did something like that on psp and same can be done on windows with cheat engine, that way we leave the whole saving and encryption to existing game mechanics making it from easy to very easy. One downside is that you have to own both games, but without that, you wouldn't really need to convert saves for anything:]. I might look it up later, after I port that cheat table:].

Converting MHFU saves from US to EU or from EU to US is extremely simple with PPSSPP Wink

You just have to change the folder name of your save :
  • if you want to convert from EU to US, just rename your "ULES01213" folder to "ULUS10391"
  • if you want to convert from US to EU, just rename your "ULUS10391" folder to "ULES01213"
PPSSPP will not see the difference ^^

Hey everyone! First time poster~ To start I'd like to say that everyone on this forum does amazing work with finding, fixing and translating cheats and shaders.

I would like to make a request on a cheat, if it's at all possible. In previous MH games I was able to find cheats that increased the size of boss mobs (even beyond silver crown) without it being a clipping/collision nightmare. Is that possible to do so with this?

I tried to implement

_L 0x1000013E 0x000055B7

at the bottom of the Map/Psychic/Trapper cheat in order to also add a permanent Adrenaline +2, but setting it this way doesn't seem to activate the atk boost. Any ideas?
