RE: Multi-Pass shaders ?
Maybe someday it will, but as for now - nope it doesn't. If you really need it for something you can code the support yourself, it's an open source project and Henrik is open for most changes and extra features as long as they keep some standard, doesn't cause regressions and go along ppsspp coding style.

RE: Multi-Pass shaders ?
would be a nice idea for stronger hardware.
At the moment, PPSSPP is optimized to run on mobile devices, that's why they didn't add it. |

RE: Multi-Pass shaders ?
If it makes you feel better, you can request any feature it in our ppsspp feature request thread. Just arm yourself with patience, this is an open source project and loads of things will be done even if they're not even planned yet, however everything needs time and unless you actually help coding it, you have no way of speeding it up, discussing it is pretty pointless - for you this could be the most important thing in your life, but you stand against xxx other requests by people who feel the same about their needs and xxx others who cannot even run their favourite game yet.
Mobiles have nothing to do with it really. The reason why it's not supported yet is more of a "lots to do - not enough time". PPSSPP devs are normal humans, they do it for free and have their own priorities. Seriously, enjoy ppsspp as it is, and you'll see it'll be even better x months from now. For an emulator that has a year and a half it's damn great already.^_^ http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |
