Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

Hi im kindda new here. In fact this is my first post here. So yea. I have a Nexus 5 and clocked to 2.3 ghz CPU when I play Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker after you rescue Chico he tells you that the trains are being used export weapons across so when you go to investigate to get the train station the game freezes you're still there but it freezes it doesn't go further. Any ideas

I have a SG S4, and I'm trying to run MGS PW on the PPSSPP (build v0.9.8) emulator and I can't get passed the loading screen (after all the short written story about how Snake became Big Boss scene disappears). I'm stucked at the white spinning circle scene )=. What can I do?

I started the game on PC, and copied the save when you get past the tutorial and the game tells you to save for the first time.

I see you are using the official 0.9.8 release, have you tried the latest beta build which is: v0.9.8-492-g97c18e7 - found from here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php

Does that make any difference or not to the game.

ppsspp v.0.8.1 does'nt have the freezing and infinite loading problem,but it's slow and crashes sometime.So please can someone tell us how to mod the latest build with v.0.8.1?
I'm using xperia arc s

I'm currently playing Peace Walker on Debian, using the v0.9.8-551-g253e11a 64bit build and I have trouble passing Mission 19 where I have to mash the action button to get past the shutter doors. The problem seems to be that PPSSPP doesn't recognize the repeated input of the same command in a short amount of time, neither with my game pad nor via the keyboard.

Did anyone here run into similar trouble? How can this problem be solved?

I tried using the rapid fire button, which didn't work at first, but when I changed my button layout to the second non-standard one (I believe it was called "action type") and *then* used the action button (which was the triangle button with that setup, not the D-Pad) together with rapid fire, it worked.

Unfortunately the above solution doesn't work for the following torture chamber scene. It won't recognize any repeated commands and rapid fire doesn't cut it - I always die at the last scene, no matter what. So, that's that. I have to doubt anyone who thought this would be a great idea to put into the game.

Did anyone have similar troubles with these parts? How did you solve it? Are my keyboard and my game pad the root of the problem? Are there any cheats or options within PPSSPP I could use for my advantage?

i have installed ppsspp on the nexus 5 and the game metal gear solid doesnt work properly.....it just stucks in loading mode and doesnt go futher.
i need help if there is any trick to overcome this

I had the Same problem in windows , try disabling "WLAN" in the settings

I Hope you have that option

I'm stuck in the 2nd Peace Walker Battle too

I tried the cheats posted but they don't seem to work
because i have the EU version , so... anyone knows if there's a "1 hit Kill" cheat for the EU version?

The ARM version (Android, iOS) of PPSSPP currently has a bug with one of the VFPU instructions that that intro loading screen uses, so turn off the JIT until you see the first cutscene, make a savestate, then exit the game, turn the JIT back on, load the savestate, and the game should load fine after that. Also, like cherenando said, make sure WLAN is off for this game, since it uses functionality that isn't implemented, so it can cause random hangs almost anywhere.

v0.9.8-594-gfe696dc and later should fix the game hanging on the intro with the JIT on, for ARM devices. The hang is fixed on my ancient and now very low-end tablet, at least. That pretty much leaves just the final boss stage 2 battle to fix, I believe (not counting the missing multiplayer functionality)..
