RE: Unofficial Desmume with internal resolution increase option
I might just be weird, but I preffer the left side. Lots of smaller glitches on the right side with stuff like character outline/celshading(just awfull while it was under text box) and where pixels kind of make low poly models appear more roundish the upscalling results with very unnatural geometric shapes.
I usually like upscalling of console games, but maybe NDS just has too much 2D graphics, or the original 3D content was too poor. As result this seems to me like a comparism between modern pixel art vs old game running in high res, where the first has it's artistic value the second looks too sterile and lacks details which eye expects with higher res. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Unofficial Desmume with internal resolution increase option
Please do not request this to be added on the official desmume tracker, it will be closed and you might find yourself belittled (depending on zeromus's mood).
He has plans to implement something similar after cleaning up the gpu code in his own time, and as the code for this hack is uncommented (and not very tidy) he will not be adding it. |

RE: Unofficial Desmume with internal resolution increase option
This is pretty fantastic. Just tried out some of my 3-D games on it and it's great. Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light looks amazing now.
Thanks for sharing. =) |
