All right, I solved this yesterday. The .ini file should be placed in :

memstick/PSP/Cheats

and not at the root of the PPSSPP folder.

Now, Rizki29, don't bother trying to make the code work on the EU version, it made the Peace Walker invincible from the beginning instead of one-hitting it.

still same but he not invincible he still undefeated at 2 bars

I have a PSP and the original (EU) version of the game. If you want, you can send me your savegame, I can get you past the boss and then send back the save.

Send me a MP if you want, just make sure you have decent equipments ( as in, Pkm, C.Gustav, Support markers, battle dress...

What's up, guys?
Im new to this, started playing Peace Walker this week and the game runs smoothly fine, but im having some problems with the loading screen issue. That one when you finish a mission and after, try to go on another and the game freezes.
I read on this topic that a solution has already been found, but i didnt understood how do i apply it to the emulator.
Im using the 0.0.9.6 version. Can someone help me?

I need help, so i've been following all the tutorials on how to make cheats work for PPSSPP, i'm using the latest build (2014/3/8) and everything should be fine, but for some reason when i go to the cheats menu, nothing ever pops up. and i can't find a solution.

this is the cheat i'm using:

_C1 One Hit Kill [Mechs]
_L 0x2001B764 0xAE200064

help would be very appreciated!

Been out for a while without a post....the game runs fine for me, but I've noticed that I got the black screen flicker problem....it isn't frequent but it sure does hurt my eyes. I'm using the latest version and my graphic card has the latest drivers. Any info on that?

AFAIK, I dont have any problems with cheats. I have an EU version and when I use the cheat to beat the motherfucker I start the emulator, enable cheats. Then I go to the folder where the cheat file is created(I think its the one where you config is). There it makes a file with the code of MGS PW EU version and the I put the cheat in. After that I start the ppsspp again and just in case, make sure you dont use savestates/loadstates when you use cheats.

Can you be more specific? Where is this flickering happening? Are you using default settings? If not, does it help to go back to default settings?

Dont bother with it....true, I didnt even try other settinga but I've read that that could be a frameskipping issue. Also, I'll try on my laptop too if nothing else helps so it could be a driver thing.

Sry thems all the details i can give lol..after i install the extra content etc,after the intro just as the game is about to start,it loads forever.. the small loading sphere in bottom right, thats as far as i can get.. tried different settings, no idea.

Well, are you playing on Windows? Android? Does turning JIT off help?

No, turnin of jit just crashes the emu altogether..

Ill investigate further, you never know lol

edit: Tried every possible combination i can think of and still no success( very strange.

re-edit:- could be a bad dump..
I know the game is playable havin seen vids on youtube etc.. just my luck. thx anyway.

That flickering issue was resolved by disableing Multithread option. It's fine now.
