Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable

I'm not entirely sure if the game just crashes more as it progresses on, or if it's a problem with the emulator itself. I'm up in the second block of Tartarus and I'm crashing almost every minute-5 minutes. I've turned off all those experimental and unstable functions and it still occurs.

hello sir its my first time coming here so idk if this is the right place for asking such a thing like this
im sorry if i make a mistake or break a rule
im playing Persona 3P and its running smoothly in 0.9.5 and i try to update mine to newest since it said its Faster and Smoother but i cant play my Persona 3 its give me a blank screen like this when i chose an option or inside tartarus

GPU :PowerVR SGX 531











is there a spesific Setting for Persona 3 Portable in new version ? im using the newest one from buildbot.

Okay since we're both using PowerVR device, I got some options for you:
Your problem can be resolved by changing hack settings...

1st of all, I'm sure you didn't checked any of the hack settings options right? That's why you got this kind of bug... An old problem with PowerVR vs Alpha channels.


Here's the options:

1. (recomended) If you want to play the game at full speed or at high fps, put check on disable alpha test.
This option will cause some of the text incomplete but there will be no black screen even inside tartarus.


2. If you want the game fully playable without text glitch, uncheck the disable alpha test & turn on "alpha Mask hack" from the latest builds which is made for "the third birthday" game bug.
But I found out that it fixes your problem, but this might slow-down the game for disable alpha test is unchecked.


P.S. Turn off "prevent fps from exceeding 60" if you experience some crashes.
