exit game without screen menu

How do i exit a game without the screen menu? When i press escape. the game quits but the screen menu of ppsspp appears. I tried using a script making ESC to ALT+F4 and it works but it can also quit my frontend hyperspin, so ALT+F4 is not an option. Is there a command line i can add so that the screen menu of ppsspp wont show?

Well, you can just use the "X" button in upside of the screen, did you tried that?

I doubt he wants to have a fullscreen front-end launch to a windowed mode game. The entire point of Hyperspin is to provide a unified interface to launch games from, like a gaming console. Maybe I'll look and see if it's difficult to implement a command-line switch or something to make escape behave differently.

No promises it gets added, but I proposed such a feature here.

To use it, append "--escapeexitsemu" to your command-line (without the quotes) once newer builds are out, and let us know how it works for you.

Fair warning: It will not prompt you if you want to quit or not, it'll just do it straight away, so make sure to save your game first to avoid losing progress.
