RE: Growlanser wayfarer of time and 0.9.5
You said "Sacha's 0.9.5" so I'm just wondering: is it one of the platform's I support?
Which platform? I guess you tried the latest builds as well? http://qtness.com/ppsspp.html |

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
The garbled font issue still exists with version 0.9.5-917 (64bit Win), however I was able to solve the issue entirely by:
1. Dont use any kind of upscaling, as the fonts sometimes dont get scaled. 2. Replace the fonts included with PPSSPP with the fonts located here: http://dl.qj.net/psp/hacks-exploits/psp-...-font.html NOTE*** Just unzip the file, find the fonts and then copy paste them to overwrite your PPSSPP fonts, no need to do all the instructions they tell you to. Anyway, those fonts completely fix all font related issues, you don't even have to "Wait" for the fonts to auto-correct. |

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
I'm having issues with font typos, for example every 'f' letter is replaced with 'y'. I'm using latest build (0.9.6.2) 64-bit and even tried replacing the fonts with the fonts from the link Xionanx posted but no luck. Any known fixes for this?

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
I believe this issue along with the sprite problem was recently fixed in the development builds. You can find the most recent version here

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Sprite problem is fixed, but the text, although it has improved, still has issues (at the beginning of the game it seems fixed, but then when you return to the camp, you notice that there are still a lot of wrong letters displayed)

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Use your real PSP fonts and don't set upscale level to auto. I've completed the game on older revision and all text is fully readable (with one or two letter glitching for a second).

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Anyway I think ppsspp should display it correctly, why is it using different fonts?

RE: Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Yes it should, but the reality is it currently can't, understand that this project is still under active development so bug with this kind of workaround is expected. Just bust out your psp and copy the font to ppsspp flash0/font folder, problem solved.
