NullDC is a Dreamcast emu, yes, for PCs primarily. AFAIK Reicast is its "sequel".

I found nearly all the games crash this emulator, yet Reicast runs them fine.

It's probably using improved nullDC code.

I haven't seen the code though, so I could be wrong. It would make a lot of sense to re-use it and fix it up though. See PPSSPP. A lot of its code came from Potemkin (and a bit from Dolphin).

What do you mean by upgrade pair?
If you meant to say How do I upgrade Reicast, then go to the Google Play App on your Android device.
If there is a upgrade then it will happen automatically, if you have it ticked that is.....

setting used for?
is it used for booting games via the bios?

Successfully compiled latest source code. Some more option implemented (Frameskipping/Strech to Fullscreen/PVR rendering). The dreamcast image now detected automatically.
