[Solved] new version of ppsspp font not readable

You're being really vague, so it could be several things:

1. Make sure you're using the assets folder that came with the version of PPSSPP you downloaded. If that still doesn't work, try getting a new copy of PPSSPP from http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html for stable builds, or http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ for git/development builds.

2. If your device's language is set to non-English, it'll use that language by default. What is your PC or device's language set to?

The OP just installed an older dev build. It's still broken in the newer dev build ver 1039. I am also seeing strange chinese text on the new build. Just have to wait for the next build for it to be fixed.

I can still navigate the menus enough on my phone. But anyone using the onscreen touch controls may get miffed a bit(They're all garbled). ;D

The graphics on version 1039 is bugged out. The app is usable but everything's gibberish - even the animated app background.

Reverted to version 1032.

greatchicken, the assets/ folder was changed. Please update that too, not just the executable.

Android build. I never had an /assets folder to download. I've been installing the .apks from the buildbot all this time, which never required me to download an /assets folder. Did something change recently?

Also, I did a complete reinstall on my S2 and it was the same.

Never mind, I forgot to update a file it seems. Should be fixed in the next auto build.
