Judging from that server message, that should be the case too, no (one is 01:01, and the other is 02:02)? Or am I really just confused? Also, while this is based on 0.9.5, it doesn't have all of the new commits that Kyhel made - for some reason they broke compilation for me. That's why it's the "old" version where you have to hardcode the MAC adress. |

RE: Online Support (PRO Online)
@saydals PPSSPP-PPSSPP works, i think it's just your friend that didn't setup the emulator correctly.
@captainobvious I see on your screen that one of your emulators has 127.0.0.1 as IP address, it'll never work that way, the server needs to see the address IP of the machine in order to give the correct one to the other players that try to join you, if they try to join 127.0.0.1 they'll only try to join THEIR computer. @betrayedAngel Just download the 32 bits version on the official builds, it should work (i've compiled my 32 bits version from the same source code and it works). Kyhel, French Student Thanks to all PPSSPP team for this amazing emulator ! I set my PC's IP address to 192.168.0.5 <<--- I set this up for adhoc server I set my bro PC's IP address to 192.168.0.2 <<--- going to set it as client then I set ppsspp.ini : adhocserver address to 127.0.0.1 <<--- which is my PC act as server and I set my bro ppsspp.ini adhocserver address to my PC which is 192.168.0.5 of course I set different MAC addresses for both ppsspp. then I open "adhocserver.exe on my PC" and run both ppsspp. I tested MHFU and MHP3rdHD : the problem is I actually cant see my bro character on Guildhall even though on adhocsever.exe says his IP is joining the group. this is SS taken from my bro PC (as a client) : and this is SS taken from my PC (act as adhoc server) : please tell me are there any step that I missed? AFAIK : I use this method to play MHFU LAN mode via jpcsp and I never have any problem, I know this adhoc support on ppsspp is for an experimental use but I want to give my feedback regarding this amazing ppsspp build. # FYI : I always set my firewall open for my bro PC and I can access my bro PC through LAN, and I think this is not my network that error.. -my outdated testing rig- Intel Core2Quad [email protected] Shappire HD7750 1GB DDR5 contact me at: [email protected] facebook.com/love.grimangel |

RE: Online Support (PRO Online)
@betrayedAngel You didn't skip step, but made a lot of mistakes First, PPSSPP adhoc doesn't work AT ALL like the jpcsp, since jpcsp doesn't require server, but can't connect over internet either. Second, NEVER put 127.0.0.1, nobody seems to understand this 127.0.0.1 points INSIDE your computer, you can't use this address on the network. if your PC has 192.168.0.5 where the server is running, just put 192.168.0.5 as proAdhocServer for both of the emulators, AND THATS ALL The IP address for proAdhocServer, is the server IP address, then the server connects the 2 emulators together.

RE: Online Support (PRO Online)
@betrayedAngel you're telling me your brother can connect to your computer's server using 192.168.0.5, but not you ? xD Did you restart the emulator after making the changes ? I got sometimes issues like that when changing from MH3rdHD to MHFU without restarting PPSSPP. Also, if you did put 192.168.0.5 in your ppsspp.ini file, but still getting 127.0.0.1 connection, it's really strange, and i don't know what's causing the bug, but it must be you, since it works for everyone else
